Mark Straw, Executive Administrator, Indiana State Egg Board
Biographical Information:
Mark has served as the Executive Administrator of the Indiana State Egg Board since January of 2008. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the program charged with regulating the sale and commerce of shell eggs in Indiana. Additionally, he works cooperatively with USDA and FDA to implement federal regulatory programs for eggs. Mark has worked in many areas of agriculture ranging from Value-Added marketing, product promotion through the Indiana Grown and Kentucky Proud programs, and livestock/forage production. He has a Masters in Animal Nutrition and has worked in the area of poultry research. Mark and his family operate a small farm in Warren County, Indiana.
