Randy and Tracy Kemerly have been homesteading for almost 30 years. They, along with their five sons, started Hidden Aces Fruit Farm in 2010. Over the years, what started as a u-pick fruit operation has expanded and grown into a biodiverse regenerative farm including pigs, poultry ( for meat and eggs) cattle and a large array of fruits and vegetables.
As their sons have grown and are starting families of their own, Randy and Tracy are transitioning into what they call “empty nest farming”. They attend multiple farmers markets and enjoy the ability to interact with customers and share their love of farming. They have trialed numerous gardening methods and now focus mainly on regenerative farming.
Farming isn’t easy, but it is always worth it. That motto along with a strong desire to be good stewards of the land have kept them farming even when it was tough or seemed impossible.
